“Circe” was one of the most popular books of 2018. It was a bestseller and won a slew of awards including the Goodreads Choice Award for Fantasy. HBO will be releasing a mini series based on this book in the near future, so it has been rocketing back up the charts over the last couple of weeks. It tells the story of a minor greek goddess, Circe, who you may be familiar with as a character in the Odyssey, and gives her a fascinating new backstory.
