Just Mercy: Adapted for Young Adults

I highly recommend this compassionate book! The young adult format is very helpful for someone like myself who doesn’t have the time or attention span to finish the original adult non-fiction book.

The Queen of Water
by Laura Resau and María Virginia Farinango

This was one of my all time favorite books growing up. I was fascinated by the way Virginia took control of her own life and created her own path through hard work and determination, overcoming a great deal of adversity along the way.

A Long Petal of the Sea
by Isabel Allende

A very interesting and well written book. It covered a lot of recent history that I didn’t know much about and made me interested to find out more about Spanish and Chilean history.

The third and final installment of the Simon Snow series just came out and it’s SO GOOD! If you’re a devoted Drarry shipper who understands that enemies-to-lovers is the best of tropes, this is for you! Loved listening through these on audio.

One of my favorite comfort-viewing shows from the past few years! The jokes are nonstop so this is totally worth viewing with full attention, but it also transitions well to a background-noise show once you’ve seen it several times.
